In the unlikely event that an unauthorised phone or internet transaction does occur (and it is clear that you have not contributed to the losses*), BankSA will refund you the full amount.

Any unauthorised card transactions will be reimbursed, provided that you have not contributed to the loss and contacted us promptly. Refer to your card's terms and conditions, including when you'll be liable.

BankSA Secure: If your BankSA account is compromised due to Internet Banking fraud, we guarantee to repay any missing funds, provided you complied with our Internet Banking Terms and Conditions (PDF 261KB). This includes keeping your logon details (including passwords, BankSA Secure codes) private, not participating in the unauthorised transaction, and immediately notifying us when you suspect an unauthorised transaction or potential fraud on your accounts.

Fraud Money Back Guarantee: Our BankSA Fraud Money Back Guarantee ensures that you will be reimbursed for any unauthorised transactions provided that you have not contributed to the loss and contacted BankSA promptly.
