- A basic, low-cost account with a Debit Visa®¹ to make deposits and withdrawals, payments online or on the BankSA App
- $0 Account-keeping fee and $0 Overdrawn fee or debit interest (other fees may apply)
- For individuals who hold a Concession or Health Care card or receive an Australian Government benefit payment that makes you eligible to hold a Concession or Health Care card
- You’re at least 14 years old with an Australian residential address (under 14s apply in branch with a parent or guardian)

Complete your application in branch
To open your account, you’ll need to visit a BankSA branch.
Please make sure you bring:
- Your tax details. If you’re a foreign tax resident, we’ll also need your tax residency details
- Suitable ID. You’ll need to be verified separately.
