We require some information from you for ATO reporting.
 

Tax reporting for
the ATO

To ensure we’re correctly reporting to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), and so your entity can avoid any related tax consequences, we need a few details from you.

Why we're asking you to do this

  • BankSA is required by law to provide the ATO with annual customer reports. It’s important that we’re able to report your details accurately as it may affect your entity’s tax assessments
  • By collecting this information, we can add it to your entity’s profile and ensure our reporting to the ATO is correct
  • In line with global Common Reporting Standards (CRS), this information may be shared by the ATO with tax authorities in other countries.

What you need to do

You’ll need to provide your details by the date included in our communications to you. If we don’t hear from you by then we may need to restrict your account, so it’s important to complete this request as soon as possible.
