Daisy +Hen Gina Britton launched Daisy + Hen in 2016 after the arrival of her son, in a bid to achieve better work-life balance. The brand has since grown to three boutiques across South Australia and an online store, o ering clothing, toys and educational products for kids. It’s all about the regions “All of our stores are in small communities and it’s thanks to the support of these wonderful people that our business has grown and we are now able to service the rest of the country with our online store.” GerardMcCabe Third-generation jeweller Gerard McCabe has been helping people celebrate important occasions with fine jewellery for over 30 years. Today, the family tradition is being carried on by his children Jessica and Justin. Cause for celebrations Gerard: "Our main areas are engagement rings and wedding rings. Usually, you see the same jewellery brands in cities around the world, so it’s nice to see a South Australian story being told.” Partners in time “We borrowed $20,000 from BankSA to start o the business back in 1986 and we’ve had a few expansions and contractions since then. Now we use far more complex nancial instruments but they’ve made it easy.
